NOTHING STAYS
IN PLACE.
The Digital Tyranny of Symmetrical Perfection
Every screen has become a corporate clean-room. The same sans-serif typography, the same padded buttons, the same sterilized gradients. We forget that culture was born in dirty print shops, smeared toner, and stolen photocopying machines after midnight.
When you tear paper, the edge is never straight. That tear is where human intention and physical accident collide. We preserve the torn edge because perfection is sterile.
“If it doesn’t smudge when you touch it, it isn’t real.”
FOUND / FRAGMENTED
Grab any photograph, sticker, or handwritten note and fling it across the cutting desk.
“We found the negative in an abandoned envelope behind the radiator.”
THE CONTACT SHEET
SCRAPBOOK / 07
“The scissors are faster than the mind.”
COLLECTED DISPATCHES
CANDID PORTRAITURE UNDER HARSH FLASH
No studio makeup, no commercial poses. Faces captured in mid-conversation, cigarette smoke, and basement doorways.
“We photograph people who make things with their hands before algorithms replace them.”
